Auntie Q's is my dream come true!

 

I realized while walking around an antique and collectible show that this was where I wanted to be all the time!

I loved talking about antiques, learning about antiques and being around antiques!  I guess you could say it was a no-brainer!

I loved antiques, vintage furniture, collectible kitchenware, Pyrex, Fire King, vintage decorative glassware, vintage clothing, antique and vintage smalls like old lighters, pens and wrinting items, old photographs and cameras, vintage wind-up toys, games and  musical instruments!

As I look around my house I realized it was filled with vintage linens, ladies' purse accessories, old pencils sharpeners, Kewpie dolls, my roll top desk, Barbie dolls, gumball machines, Teddy bears. composition dolls, Depression glass, rocking chairs, red handled kitchen utensils, vintage lamps and books in every nook and cranny! I have 2 huge printers' drawers filled with tons of smalls collected over the years-the odder and weirder the better-and I have great fun looking for new "old, odd" things to put into them!

My shop is now filled with the same kinds of things I have in my house.  Many of my own things have made their way to the shop!

I have also developed a passion for hardware:

Tools, handles, hinges, door knobs, keys, wheels, pulleys, rope, nautical hardware, hooks, saws, hand drills, files, locks, tool boxes, crates, rakes, pitchforks, hoes, spears, fencing and anything made of metal!

I look for the oddest, neatest, coolest, weirdest, stuff for you!

Re-purposing things is a great way to incorporate vintage and antiques into ANY house regardless of your style.
